We are seeking reliable, self-employed Couriers to join our Dundee team (please note, applicants must have their own vehicle and be able to work Saturdays as part of their weekly shift).
Job Summary
We are looking to recruit self-employed Couriers who will be responsible for delivering goods and packages promptly and safely across designated routes in Dundee. This role requires excellent organisational skills, strong communication abilities, and a professional attitude to ensure customer satisfaction. Couriers will play a vital part in maintaining the smooth operation of our delivery services, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
Duties
- Collect parcels and goods from the warehouse.
- Plan efficient delivery routes to optimise time and fuel consumption.
- Deliver packages to customers at their specified locations in a courteous and professional manner.
- Obtain signatures or proof of delivery as required.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups using company systems or paperwork.
Qualifications
- Experience in warehouse operations or logistics is advantageous but not essential.
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members.
- Good organisational and time management skills in order to meet delivery deadlines.
- Knowledge of local roads, traffic regulations, and GPS navigation tools is essential.
- Ability to complete physically demanding tasks such as lifting and carrying.
