We are seeking a local person that is a skilled Stone Worktop Fabricator Installer to join our team. This role involves the precise fabrication and professional installation of stone worktops in residential and commercial settings. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent craftsmanship, and experience working with various construction and finishing techniques. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, ensuring high-quality results that meet client specifications.
Duties
- Measure, cut, and shape stone slabs accurately according to project specifications using hand tools and power tools.
- Fabricate custom worktops with precision, ensuring seamless joints and flawless finishes.
- Install fabricated stone worktops securely onto cabinets or designated surfaces, ensuring stability and aesthetic appeal.
- Operate specialised machinery for polishing, edging, and finishing stone surfaces.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and project plans to ensure correct installation procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
- Assist with site preparation, including surface levelling and support framing as needed.
Skills
- Proven experience in fabrication and installation of stone worktops or similar surfaces.
- Knowledge of construction techniques including masonry, carpentry, plastering, roofing, plumbing, electrical work, welding, and construction painting is advantageous.
- Proficiency with hand tools such as chisels, grinders, saws, and specialised fabrication equipment.
- Experience using power tools safely and effectively in a construction environment.
- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately.
- Excellent organisational skills with an eye for detail to ensure precise measurements and finishes.
- Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and clients.

Pay: £24,420.00-£43,097.82 per year
