The Welcombe Hotel is looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and customer-focused Bar Team Member to join our Food & Beverage team.
We’re looking for someone who enjoys creating a welcoming atmosphere, delivering great service and making sure every guest has a memorable experience.
The Role
As a Bar Team Member, you will:
- Deliver friendly, professional and efficient service to our guests.
- Prepare and serve a range of drinks, including wines, beers, spirits, cocktails and hot beverages.
- Provide guests with recommendations and confidently answer questions about our drinks selection.
- Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the bar and surrounding areas.
- Process orders and payments accurately.
- Ensure all licensing, health & safety and hotel procedures are followed.
- Work closely with the wider Food & Beverage team to provide a seamless guest experience.
- Assist with functions, events and busy service periods when required.
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has a positive, friendly and professional approach.
- Enjoys working with people and providing excellent customer service.
- Works well as part of a team.
- Can remain calm and organised during busy periods.
- Is reliable, flexible and takes pride in their work.
- Is available to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
Previous bar or hospitality experience would be an advantage, but a great attitude and willingness to learn are just as important.
