We are excited to be looking for a Maintenance Assistant to join our facilities team.
Summary of the role:
To ensure that all planned and reactive maintenance for the group premises is completed to a high standard, on time and cost effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the club, office and co-working spaces for all premises are kept to high standards of repair and cleanliness.
- Ensure strict maintenance deadlines are met for all premises.
- Opening of venue at specified rota time and being a listed key holder.
- Working with facilities, club and operations teams to improve the club, offices and co-working spaces.
- Ensure all plant, equipment, fixtures and fittings are in sound working order and kept secure.
- Point of contact on emergency call out list.
- To carry out daily, weekly & monthly checks and ensure all paper work is current and in accordance with any legislations and regulations.
- Ensure all aspects of maintenance are covered, including but not limited to: painting and decorating, plumbing, carpentry and some basic electrical works.
- Liaise with contractors when necessary.
- Deal with visitors, deliveries and ad-hoc requests.
- Ordering and delivery of equipment /materials.
- Must be flexible at all times.
- Facilitate business continuity, ensuring buildings are always fully operational.
- Ensure the security processes and procedures are met to the expected standards.
- Any ad-hoc requests.
- All other duties as required.
Skills and Knowledge Required:
- Competent in painting and decorating, plumbing, carpentry and some basic electrical work.
- Proficient in Microsoft programs to include Outlook, Excel, Word, OneNote.
- Contractor management experience.
- Excellent standard of customer service.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Ability to prioritise work load.
- Good understanding of H&S.
Working hours for this role are 40 hours per week, as specified by rota. This could include some weekends.
