We are seeking a skilled and passionate Traditional Italian Chef to join our culinary team. Duties
- Prepare and cook authentic Italian dishes, including pasta, sauces, antipasti, and desserts, ensuring high-quality standards are maintained.
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation, from ingredient selection to presentation, maintaining consistency and authenticity.
- Manage kitchen operations efficiently, including organising ingredients, maintaining cleanliness, and adhering to food safety regulations.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.
- Assist in menu development by suggesting new recipes and improving existing dishes based on seasonal ingredients and customer feedback.
- Train junior kitchen staff in traditional Italian cooking techniques and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards at all times within the kitchen environment.
Experience
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen setting, ideally specialising in Italian cuisine.
- Demonstrable culinary experience with a focus on authentic Italian dishes.
- Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable, with knowledge of meal preparation and food safety protocols.
- Familiarity with serving guests in a hospitality environment is advantageous.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: £12.21-£19.27 per hour
