Oakleigh Residential Care Home is a welcoming 25-bed residential dementia care home in Huntingdon. We are looking for a reliable and practical Maintenance Person / Handyman to support the day-to-day upkeep of our home.
Key Duties
- Carry out general repairs and maintenance around the care home
- Complete health and safety checks and report any issues
- Undertake painting, decorating, and basic refurbishment work
- Handle minor plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks
- Respond to urgent maintenance issues when required
What We’re Looking For
- Previous handyman or maintenance experience
- Good practical skills and problem-solving ability
- Reliable, flexible, and able to work independently
Salary or hourly rate is negotiable for suitable candidates depending on experience and qualifications.
