The Role
Signature Dining have a vacancy for an experienced sous chef in High Wycombe. We are seeking a confident and creative chef with a genuine passion for fresh food, a compassionate nature and the desire to further their skills and career.
Working 40 hours per week, 5 days out of 7 with shifts allocated on a rota basis, the chef's responsibilities will be to:
- Prepare high quality meals using the finest fresh ingredients and presented with love and care
- Provide a daily breakfast, lunch and supper service
- Work with the chef manager to prepare and serve meals
- Lead the kitchen in the absence of the chef manager
- Report directly to the chef manager
As our Sous Chef You Will...
- Be an experienced and creative chef
- Support the chef manager in the day to day running of the kitchen
- Lead the team in the chef manager's absence
- Have good communication skills
- Be passionate about producing fantastic food
- Demonstrate effective team work skills
- Possess excellent culinary skills and be up to date with current food trends
- Have the ability to assist in the development creative and imaginative menus
- Be comfortable engaging with vulnerable adults and their relatives
- Have excellent interpersonal skills
- Have a natural passion for providing excellent food and customer service
- Hold a City & Guilds 706/1, 706/2 or equivalent
- Have completed Health & Safety and Food Safety Training
