Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Part-Time Care Assistants to provide high-quality support to individuals in Slough, High Wycombe, and Harrow. This role offers an excellent opportunity to make a positive difference in people's lives by assisting with daily activities and promoting independence. The ideal candidate will be reliable, caring, and possess strong communication skills to effectively support service users in their homes or care settings. Previous experience in care home or home care environments is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Assisting clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Supporting individuals with mobility and daily living activities
- Implementing and following personalised care plans to meet each client's needs
- Providing companionship and emotional support to enhance wellbeing
- Assisting with medication management in accordance with care plans
- Maintaining accurate records of care provided and any changes in client conditions
- Communicating effectively with clients, families, and team members to ensure consistent care delivery
- Driving to various locations as required to support clients in their homes or care facilities
Requirements
- Driving licence and access to a vehicle are preferred for flexibility in travel between locations
- Prior experience working in a care home or providing home care is desirable but not mandatory
- Good command of English, both written and spoken
- Basic IT skills for maintaining accurate documentation and updating care plans
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and team members
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support others’ wellbeing
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work part-time hours across weekdays, including mornings, afternoons, or evenings as needed
- Driving License: UK or International driving license is highly preferred if not within walking distance.

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Worker/Care Assistant in Slough & High Wycombe. This role is ideal for someone local who is passionate about providing high-quality care to those with varying needs.
Part-time, Zero-Hour Contract Shift. Location: Slough & High Wycombe – applicants must be within walking distance or have access to a vehicle.
Pay: £12.82-£13.50 per hour
