Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The role will be with our toddlers who are under 2 years old. They love spending time outside and engaging in messy activities.
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development for children in your care
- Work as a team during daily nursery routines, including meal times, play sessions, and rest periods, ensuring smooth operation and safety at all times
- Maintain accurate records of children’s progress, attendance, and any incidents in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their child’s development, behavior, and daily experiences
- Ensure the nursery complies with health and safety regulations, safeguarding policies, and licensing standards
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of nursery practices through feedback and participation in team meetings
Requirements
- A recognised Level 3 Childcare Qualification
- Excellent communication skills in English to interact confidently with children, parents, and colleagues
- Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and health & safety regulations relevant to childcare settings
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
