We are an established family run Plumbing, Heating, Tools & Bathroom business. We are looking for a junior team member to work in the shop dealing with stock and supporting the sales team. In addition you would carry out moped deliveries to our customers using the LHP moped. We require candidates to have a CBT license for mopeds and experience riding. A full and clean driving license is also desirable to carry out Van deliveries.
There is potential for those interested to be trained to advance and become a sales advisor at the Trade Counter. This position is suitable for someone who is interested in this industry and willing to learn the technical products.
Your role for this position:
-Unloading deliveries, checking deliveries and replenishing stock (Heavy lifting)
-Actively learning the products sold in the shop
- Accurately and efficiently identifying and picking stock to fulfil customer orders
- Working on shop floor making sales when additional support is needed by the Trade Counter
-Placing orders with suppliers on direction of senior members of the team
-Keeping the shop & stock rooms clean & tidy
-Willing to carry out training in computer software used by the business for sales, ordering & deliveries
What we require:
· Knowledge in heating, plumbing, bathrooms and boiler spares is very desirable but not a must.
· Must be able to work in a team and be able to use your own initiative
· Must have good communication and organisational skills.
· Must be computer literate
· Willing to work under pressure
· Excellent time keeping and attendance
Moped riding experience with up to date CBT
Driving license (desirable)
Hours:
· Monday to Friday 9am to 5.00pm (fewer hours also possible). Possible Saturday cover when needed 8am - 1pm.

Salary: Dependent on experience
