We are currently recruiting for an experienced Flame Cutting Machine Operative to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Poynton, Cheshire.
This is a temporary-to-permanent position offering weekly pay and the chance to secure a long-term position following a successful training and probation period.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating flame cutting machinery safely and efficiently
- Operating water jet cutting equipment
- Producing high-quality cuts to required specifications
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
- Carrying out routine machine checks and basic maintenance
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area
Requirements
- Previous machine operating experience is essential
- Flame cutting experience is required
- Ability to work accurately and safely in a manufacturing environment
- Good attention to detail
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
Working Hours & Pay
Training Period (Days):
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00am to 4:30pm
- Friday: 8:00am to 2:30pm
- £13.45
After Training:
4 on / 4 off Night Shift Pattern
- 10:00pm to 8:00am
- Early finish on Fridays where applicable within the shift pattern
- £17.88
