Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and ensure they feel welcomed throughout their visit
- Take orders accurately and serve food and beverages efficiently
- Assist with food preparation and presentation as required, maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, counters, and service stations
- Handle customer enquiries professionally, resolving any issues promptly and courteously
- Support barista duties if applicable, preparing coffee and speciality drinks with attention to detail
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations at all times
- Collaborate effectively with team members to deliver seamless service during busy periods
Requirements
- Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality roles is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures
- Experience in food preparation or working in a restaurant environment is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- A proactive attitude with a genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service
- Previous barista experience is a plus but not essential; training will be provided for specific duties
