Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Crane Driver to join our growing team. In this vital role, you will operate a 350 crane to unload, stockpile, sort, process and load scrap metal
Responsibilities
- Operate cranes safely and efficiently to lift, move, sort and load scrap metal materials according to project plans.
- Conduct pre-operation inspections of cranes and related machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
- Assist with materials handling tasks such as loading and unloading trucks using forklifts or other equipment as needed.
- Follow all safety protocols, including proper signaling, loading, and personal protective equipment usage.
- Support shipping & receiving processes by ensuring timely delivery and dispatch of materials.
Requirements
- Proven experience operating cranes in a construction or industrial environment.
- Mechanical knowledge of crane systems, forklifts, excavators, and other heavy machinery.
- Strong materials handling skills with experience in warehouse or shipping & receiving operations.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions with physical stamina for demanding tasks.
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to crane operation and heavy equipment use.
