Overview
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Lead Hand/Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our team. The ideal candidate possess strong supervisory skills to ensure the project meets milestones set out, the candidate will need to provide daily updates to the management team. The Lead Hand will play a pivotal role in coordinating activities, supporting team members, and maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of team members to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to project timelines.
- Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Monitor safety protocols on-site, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
- Assist in problem-solving issues that arise during project execution and escalate concerns when necessary.
- Liaise with project managers and other stakeholders to communicate progress and any potential delays or risks.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and personnel hours for reporting purposes.
Requirements
- Proven experience in supervisory roles within a electrical project environment.
- Demonstrable leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Good communication skills, capable of liaising effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
- Gold card or equivalent qualifications. SSSTS preferred but not essential.
Pay: £200.00-£250.00 per day
