We're looking for a friendly, reliable and enthusiastic Part-Time Weekend Retail Assistant to join our team in the heart of Edinburgh's Old Town.
As a popular gift shop serving visitors from around the world, we're looking for someone who enjoys working with people, provides excellent customer service, and takes pride in maintaining a well-presented store.
What you'll be doing
- Providing excellent customer service at all times.
- Processing sales politely, efficiently and accurately using our EPOS system.
- Pricing and merchandising stock when required.
- Keeping the shop clean, tidy and well-stocked.
- Helping customers with product enquiries and creating a welcoming shopping experience.
What we're looking for
- Availability to work every Saturday and Sunday.
- Previous retail experience is preferred.
- Experience using an EPOS/till system is preferred.
- A positive attitude with excellent communication skills.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Working Hours
Saturday: 9:00am – 3:00pm
Sunday: 9:00am – 3:00pm
Hours may be adjusted seasonally with advance notice.
