Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their overall experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
- Manage cash transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems while balancing registers at the end of each shift.
- Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure a safe environment for everyone.
- Restock bar supplies as needed, including garnishes, glassware, and beverages, to ensure smooth service flow.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver efficient service during busy hours while maintaining a lively atmosphere.
Requirements
- Proven experience in bartending or serving within a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of bartending techniques, drink recipes, and food safety standards.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
