Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across various Sports Centre premises. This role offers permanent hours suitable for individuals seeking part-time employment, with an emphasis on attention to detail and a strong work ethic. Prior experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces in changing areas,showers and washrrooms
- Maintain cleanliness of washrooms and showers according to health and safety standards
- Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet roll as needed
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is used safely and maintained properly
- Follow designated cleaning schedules and report any maintenance issues or hazards to management
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times during cleaning duties
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Reliability and punctuality are essential qualities for this role
- Willingness to undertake training related to cleaning procedures and safety protocols
This position offers a permanent schedule 4pm - 8pm Monday - Friday
