Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload shipments using appropriate equipment such as forklifts and manual handling techniques.
- Prepare orders by picking and packing items accurately according to specifications.
- Stock shelves and storage areas efficiently, ensuring inventory is organized and accessible.
- Conduct quality control checks to verify the accuracy and condition of goods before dispatch or receipt.
- Maintain a clean, safe workspace by adhering to health and safety guidelines and reporting any hazards promptly.
- Previous experience working in a warehouse environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Familiarity with materials handling equipment such as forklifts is advantageous; certification is a plus.
- Experience with warehouse management systems or inventory software is desirable.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely.
- Strong attention to detail for quality control tasks and accurate order picking.
- Demonstrated ability to follow safety procedures consistently in a fast-paced setting.
Pay: £24,785.00 per year
