We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Practitioner Level 3 to join our early childhood education team. Duties
- Plan, deliver, and evaluate age-appropriate activities that promote children’s development across all areas including social, emotional, physical, and cognitive skills
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment that encourages children’s curiosity and learning
- Support children with their individual needs, ensuring personalised care plans are implemented effectively
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress, behaviour, and developmental milestones
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistency in care and educational approaches
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding children's progress and any concerns
- Lead small groups of children during activities, promoting positive behaviour and social interaction
- Assist in the organisation of nursery routines such as meal times, naps, and outdoor play
- Uphold health and safety standards in accordance with regulatory requirements
Experience
- Demonstrated leadership skills in supervising or mentoring team members
- Extensive experience working directly with children in early childhood environments
- Strong background in childcare practices aligned with early childhood education standards
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Valid driving licence is desirable for transporting children or attending external activities
