At Car & Commercial Solutions Ltd, we specialise in bespoke vehicle conversions for public sector organisations, including Police forces, as well as fleet companies and vehicle dealerships across the UK.
We are looking for a motivated and reliable parts assistant to support our existing parts department in the day-to-day running of the business.
This role would be ideal for a school leaver looking to start their career, although applicants with experience in parts, stores, warehousing, or administration are also encouraged to apply.
The Role
You will work alongside our current parts personnel, helping to ensure that parts and materials are ordered, organised, and delivered to our fitters when required. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with receiving and checking deliveries
- Organising and maintaining stock levels
- Picking and distributing parts to workshop fitters
- Assisting with ordering parts and materials
- Keeping stores and work areas tidy and organised
- Updating stock records and paperwork
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the workshop
What We're Looking For
- Good organisational skills
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Basic computer skills would be advantageous but not essential
No previous experience is required as full training will be provided for the right candidate.
