Air To Heat specialises in the design, supply and installation of heating systems, with an emphasis on pushing up standards in the industry and delivering a high level of customer service to our clients.
Air To Heat is a rapidly growing business in a highly active and exciting new industry. In the last 5 years the heat pump industry has grown over 300% and is expected to continue if not increase on this growth path. The business is actively looking to grow in the marketplace and position itself to lead the heat pump market in London and the Southeast in the next 3 years.
We are based in Bromley, Kent. We cover all of London and the home counties.
We are looking for a proactive Senior Heating Engineer to join our team to help us with our ever growing requirement for heating, plumbing and renewables work on our sites. The main roles will cover:
- Installation and maintenance of Air Source Heat Pumps, including servicing.
- Upgrading Radiators.
- Installation & Maintenance of un-vented hot water systems.
- Removing existing gas heating systems.
- Gas meter capping and disconnections.
- Manage complex heat pump installations
- Wiring up control systems
- Completing pipework runs
- Installation & Maintenance of underfloor heating systems.
- Installation of gas heating system (low volume)
- Fault Finding
- All other adhoc tasks to help the company out.
The majority of our work is residential, but we do small commercial projects as well. So knowledge on this would be bonus, but not essential.
The role will also involve working with and managing an apprentice and other team members. So having patience and the ability to train others is key to the role.
We are offering a basic salary of £45,000.00 for a senior heating engineers and up to £55,000.00 for an experienced engineer with supervisory experience.
You will be given a van, fuel card and company clothing. Company pension as standard with 30 days leave a year.
There is also a daily bonus scheme where payments are made for sites that are further afield.
Working Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm. Finishing at 4pm on Fridays. 39hr working week.
Ideally you will have the following:
- Minimum NVQ level 2/3 in Plumbing & Heating (or similar)
- Water Regulations
- Un-Vented G3 Qualification
- Gas Safe qualifications
- Must have a clean full UK driving license
- At least 5 years experience
- Ideally have your own tools and testing equipment (can be subsidised).
