Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable <PERSON>/paver/kerbing to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for constructing and installing kerbing, paving, and other masonry features with precision and attention to detail. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in masonry or related trades to contribute to high-quality outdoor projects. Candidates should possess a strong work ethic, be physically fit, and comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, and lay pavers, kerbing, and bricks according to project specifications
- Operate hand tools such as trowels, hammers, chisels, and levels to ensure accurate installation
- Use power tools including saws and drills safely and effectively during construction processes
- Mix mortar or concrete as required for bonding materials securely
- Assist with site preparation, including excavation and surface levelling
- Follow safety protocols at all times to maintain a safe working environment
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and to high standards
- Maintain equipment and tools in good working order, reporting any faults promptly
Experience
- Proven experience in ground working or paving is highly desirable
- Familiarity with the use of hand tools and power tools used in construction work

- Ability to read technical drawings and interpret project plans accurately
- Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual labour over extended periods
