Social Media Content Creator – Pokémon & Collectibles
Location: Teddington / Twickenham, South West London
Contract: Short-term initially, with potential to become permanent
Hours: Full-time, Monday–Friday
Salary: £26,000–£30,000 pro-rata, depending on experience
We’re looking for someone who knows how to make people stop scrolling.
We’re a rapidly growing Pokémon trading card and collectibles business based in Teddington/Twickenham, and we’re looking for a creative, ambitious Social Media Content Creator to join our team.
This role would be ideal for someone fresh out of university or early in their career, but who can already demonstrate a genuine talent for creating engaging — and ideally viral — content.
Your CV matters less to us than what you can actually create.
The Role
You’ll be working on-site in Teddington/Twickenham, alongside our streamers and wider team, creating content for TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.
Your job will be simple:
IDEA → FILM → EDIT → POST → ANALYSE → REPEAT.
You’ll be expected to produce multiple pieces of social media content every working day, while helping us develop a wider content strategy and figure out what makes our audience tick.
You’ll be creating things like:
- TikToks and Reels designed to go viral
- Behind-the-scenes content
- Pokémon openings and big-pull reactions
- Challenges, competitions and funny moments
- Streamer/personality-led content
- Trending and reactive content
- Original concepts that you come up with yourself
We want someone who sees something happen in the office and immediately thinks:
“That needs to be a TikTok.”
What We’re Looking For
You don’t need years of experience. You need proof that you understand social media.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has created short-form content before
- Understands TikTok trends, hooks and retention
- Has strong video editing skills
- Can film good-quality content using a phone/camera
- Has a natural instinct for what people will find entertaining
- Can consistently produce content at pace
- Is creative, proactive and comfortable experimenting
- Can demonstrate previous content that has achieved strong views or engagement
If you’ve created a video that got 100k, 500k or 1m+ views, we want to see it.
Your portfolio/social accounts will be more important to us than your qualifications.
Pokémon Knowledge?
Not essential.
Being a Pokémon fan is a bonus, but we’d rather hire someone who understands people, entertainment and TikTok than someone who can name every Pokémon but can’t make a good video.
Important
This is an on-site role. You must be able to reliably travel to our Teddington/Twickenham location every working day.
There will be a daily content production requirement, so we’re looking for someone who enjoys creating content consistently rather than occasionally.
Contract → Permanent
The role will initially be a short-term contract, with the potential to become a permanent full-time position for the right person.
If you can demonstrate that you can create great content, grow our audience and make a genuine impact, there will be plenty of opportunity to grow with the business.
