Job Overview
We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Class 2 HGV Driver to join our small but friendly skip company. You will be responsible for delivering and collecting skips in and around the Tamworth area. The work will predominantly be in a 4 wheel skip loader but occasionally you will be required to drive an 8 wheel hook loader.
The hours of work are 7.30am - 4.30pm
Overtime will be available due to demand, but not expected.
Starting rate is £15.00 per hour rising to £17.00 per hour when proven.
A valid driver CPC is required.
Duties
- Safely operate a Class 2 HGV vehicle, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and company policies
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain safety standards
- Deliveries, collections and exchanges of chain lift skips
- Provide a professional, courteous and a customer focused service at all times
