We are looking for an experienced Vehicle Painter & Prepper to join our busy, friendly bodyshop in Welling. We are seeking a reliable, hardworking individual who takes pride in producing high-quality work and has a keen eye for detail.
The ideal candidate will be experienced in vehicle preparation and paintwork and, ideally, will also have experience carrying out minor to medium vehicle body repairs.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing vehicles and panels for paint.
- Sanding, masking, filling, and priming.
- Mixing and colour matching paint.
- Applying primer, basecoat, and clearcoat to a high standard.
- Polishing and finishing paintwork.
- Carrying out quality checks to ensure a flawless finish.
- Minor to medium body repairs, including dent repairs and filler work (preferred).
- Removing and refitting trims, bumpers, lights, and other vehicle components where required.
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
- Working efficiently to meet deadlines without compromising on quality.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Painter and Prepper.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- High standard of workmanship.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude.
- Ability to manage workload and work to deadlines.
- Full UK driving licence preferred.
