Site Manager / Foreman — Fire Reinstatement Project

About the Role
C Property Solutions is looking for an experienced Site Manager / Foreman to lead a fire reinstatement project at an occupied office building. This is a full strip-out and remediation job covering removal of fire-damaged goods, ceilings, floor coverings and partition walls, through to cleaning, protection and preparation for reinstatement.
You'll be the main point of contact on site, coordinating multiple trades and keeping the job running safely, on schedule, and to a high standard — all while part of the building remains occupied by other tenants going about their working day.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day running of the site, coordinating multiple trades (strip-out, cleaning, waste removal, and associated contractors) to keep works progressing to programme
- Take full ownership of health & safety on site, including risk assessments, method statements, toolbox talks and ensuring all operatives work to industry best practice
- Manage site setup and access control, including segregation of work areas, skip placement and waste chute systems
- Maintain strict site awareness around occupied areas of the building, ensuring noise, dust and disruption to other tenants is minimised at all times
- Liaise professionally with the client, building management, and occupied tenants — representing the company to a high standard at all times
- Monitor and enforce use of dust extraction, HEPA filtration and other containment measures to prevent secondary contamination of unaffected areas
- Manage deliveries, waste disposal and site logistics in line with local regulations
- Report progress, issues and any variations or unforeseen works promptly, ensuring any changes are approved before proceeding
- Keep accurate daily site records, including photos, sign-in sheets and incident reporting
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Site Manager or Foreman on strip-out, remediation, refurbishment or fire/flood restoration projects
- Strong health & safety knowledge (SMSTS or SSSTS qualification preferred)
- Confident managing and coordinating multiple trades on site simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills, with the professionalism to work in and around an occupied, live office environment
- Highly organised, calm under pressure, and comfortable taking ownership of a site from start to finish
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach to unexpected issues on site
Desirable
- First Aid at Work certificate
- Experience working on fire, flood or insurance-related remediation projects
- CSCS card (Manager/Supervisor level)
