As a Pharmacy Assistant, you'll play a key part in the smooth running of the pharmacy, working closely with our pharmacists and wider team to deliver a high standard of care and service.
Key responsibilities
- Greeting customers warmly and providing helpful, professional advice on over-the-counter products
- Assisting with the safe and accurate dispensing of prescriptions under the supervision of the pharmacist
- Managing stock, including ordering, receiving deliveries and rotating products
- Handling till transactions and general administrative tasks
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and well-organised pharmacy environment
- Supporting patients with queries and signposting them to the appropriate services
What we're looking for
- A friendly, approachable manner and excellent customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures accurately
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- A team player who is reliable, organised and able to prioritise tasks
- A willingness to learn and develop within the role
- Previous experience in a pharmacy or retail environment is helpful but not essential, as full training will be provided
Please note - This is a full time role (40 hours a week) Monday - Saturday
