We are looking for a reliable and caring Domestic Assistant/Cleaner to join our friendly team at Savernake Community Hospital.

Standard DBS is required
This is a rewarding role supporting patients on a 30-bed rehabilitation ward, helping to maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for people recovering from illness, injury, falls and strokes.
This role will deliver a full cleaning service within NHS Property Services premises, in line with the Domestic Services Operative Manual, policies, procedures and cleaning schedules. Carry out cleaning duties across the site to a high standard.
- Maintain patient bedrooms, ward areas and communal spaces, ensuring a clean, safe and welcoming environment.
- Adhere to Health & Safety policies, infection prevention standards and COSHH requirements.
- Assist with the evening meal clear-down process.
- Load, unload and operate dishwashing equipment, ensuring crockery and utensils are prepared for the next meal service.
- Work collaboratively with domestic, catering, clinical and site colleagues.
- Complete routine cleaning tasks and follow workplace procedures effectively.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and infection prevention at all times.
