Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced CDP Chef to join our team as a Live-In Chef. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, maintaining food safety standards, and delivering exceptional culinary experiences. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with menu specifications and dietary requirements
- Ensure all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality, presentation, and taste
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations at all times
- Assist in meal planning and ingredient sourcing to ensure freshness and quality
- Manage kitchen stock levels, organise inventory, and minimise waste
- Keep the kitchen clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety standards
- Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent service during meal times
- Support in training junior kitchen staff and apprentices as required
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety regulations
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Experience working in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly desirable
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team under pressure
- Good communication skills and a keen eye for detail
- Prior experience serving guests or customers is advantageous
