Duties
- Greet customers warmly, taking their orders accurately and efficiently
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks following established recipes
- Assist in food preparation, including assembling light snacks or baked goods as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the serving area, barista station, and dining space
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards at all times, including proper handling and storage of ingredients
- Manage cash register transactions with basic math skills for accurate billing and change handling
- Support team members during busy periods by managing multiple tasks such as serving, refilling supplies, and cleaning
Qualifications
- Prior barista experience or familiarity with coffee preparation techniques is preferred
- Strong understanding of food safety practices and standards
- Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to perform food preparation tasks with attention to hygiene and quality standards
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours
- Friendly demeanor with strong communication skills to engage positively with customers and team members
