Job Overview
BMJ is seeking a Freelance Senior Marketing Executive to join the B2B Marketing team part-time (2 days a week) and working remotely. The Senior Marketing Executive will be responsible for the creation and implementation of engagement and nurture materials and marketing campaigns to support our customer base in raising awareness and adoption of BMJ Products, mainly BMJ Best Practice, and BMJ Journals
This exciting role will include utilising a broad range of BMJ's marketing tools, resources and platforms to create innovative marketing materials and campaigns to support BMJ’s customers.
Responsibilities
Support the Senior Marketing Manager and wider B2B team by:

Contributing to and executing tactical marketing plans for key customers across multiple channels.

Creating engaging copy and designs to promote usage of BMJ products to healthcare professionals in the UK and Europe.

Working in collaboration with our graphic designers to ensure all marketing materials are on-brand.

Producing printed and digital collateral such as flyers, posters, user guides and digital/social assets.

Reporting on outcomes and the impact of activities/campaigns undertaken to enable continuous improvement.

Providing regular reports with actionable insights and data-driven recommendations to help us optimize our B2B outreach.

Participating in quarterly performance reviews to assess deliverable quality and ensure we are hitting our strategic milestones.

Managing own workload, defined budget and trusted customer data according to GDPR and company policy.
Qualifications

A degree in marketing or similar demonstrable experience in marketing (preferred).

Experience using email marketing platforms (e.g. Adestra) and automation software (preferred).

Confidence writing compelling copy for use in marketing assets and emails (essential).

Excellent communication and stakeholder management across teams (essential).

IT competence, including Google applications and web skills (essential).

High standard of written English is required to communicate effectively and professionally with customers and users (essential).

A good understanding of the various healthcare systems and healthcare professionals’ needs (desirable).
