Job Summary
Barista/All-Rounder
20-25 hours per week Mon - Fri (Some Saturdays may be required)
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Barista / All Rounder to join our small, friendly team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, ensuring they receive exceptional service and a welcoming atmosphere. Your responsibilities will include assisting with food preparation, taking orders, and maintaining a clean and organised dining area. A passion for Coffee would be desirable and Coffee training will be included.
Responsibilities
- Barista - speciality coffee
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent service throughout their dining experience.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all dietary requirements are noted.
- Assist in food preparation and kitchen duties as needed, adhering to food safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness in the front of house area, including tables, chairs, and service counters.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Address customer queries or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Key holder to open or close
Experience
- Previous experience in a Coffee Shop or Hospitality environment is preferred but not essential.
- Willingness to get stuck in on all areas when needed
- Strong time management skills to handle busy periods effectively.
- A keen interest in food safety practices to maintain high standards of hygiene.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well within a team environment.
- Passion for Coffee and working for a small independent business.
