```Duties```
- Oversee the daily operations of the butchery department, ensuring efficient and effective workflow
- Manage a team of butchers and provide guidance and support as needed
- Ensure that all meat products are prepared, cut, and packaged according to quality standards and customer specifications
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for meat products as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate product availability and meet customer demands
- Train new employees on proper butchery techniques and safety procedures
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new techniques in butchery
```Qualifications```
- Previous experience in food production, kitchen, or culinary field, with a focus on butchery preferred
- Strong knowledge of different cuts of meat and proper preparation techniques
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and stand for long periods of time
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £32,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
