The post holder will be an Advanced Clinical Pharmacist in Paediatrics, Neonatology, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, providing highly specialised pharmaceutical advice and regular reports on clinical and financial drug issues. They will be responsible for providing a safe and effective clinical pharmacy service to the specialties and directorate. The post holder will be accountable for their own professional actions and undertake duties in accordance with National protocols, legislation, and UHB policies and procedures. There is scope within the job plan for clinical prescribing sessions within the directorate for independent pharmacists.
This role is based at RGH and POW, and will work across and provide health board wide service provisions.
The post holder is responsible for managing, leading, developing and delivering specialist neonatal, paediatric, gynaecology, integrated sexual health and maternity services with the acute site in conjunction with the Lead pharmacist for Children and Families
They will be responsible for supporting the delivery of education and training for pharmacy students, pharmacists, and other health care professionals.
