Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Painter and Decorator to bring vibrant, high-quality finishes to residential, commercial, or industrial spaces. Duties
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling holes, and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion
- Apply paints, varnishes, wallpapers, and decorative finishes with precision and care
- Use a variety of tools including brushes, rollers, spray guns, and scaffolding to achieve desired effects
- Follow project specifications and safety guidelines diligently throughout each job
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to understand project requirements and updates
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of waste responsibly
- Drive company vehicles as needed to transport materials and equipment between sites
Experience
- Proven experience in construction painting or decorating roles with a strong portfolio of completed projects
- Familiarity with different types of paints, coatings, wallpapers, and decorative techniques
- Valid driving license with the ability to operate company vehicles safely
- Excellent communication skills in English for clear instructions and client interactions
- Ability to interpret project plans, specifications, and technical instructions accurately
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to construction painting environments
