As a member of our bar staff, you will be responsible for serving drinks, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring that guests have an enjoyable experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers in accordance with standard recipes.
- Maintain a clean and organised bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Engage with customers, taking orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences.
- Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods.
- Handle cash and process payments accurately, applying basic maths skills for transactions.
- Assist in restocking supplies and maintaining inventory levels as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations within the establishment.
- Uphold high standards of customer service, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
Experience
- Previous experience in bartending or a similar role within the hospitality industry is essential.
- Strong understanding of food safety practices is advantageous.
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy shifts efficiently.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing tabs effectively.
- A friendly demeanour with the ability to help create a positive experience for all patrons.
