Role
Here at Centurion Europe Ltd we have an opportunity for a self- motivated and driven Part Time Health & Safety Advisor to join our organisation. You will be based in Doncaster working alongside the Senior Management Team. You will be required to work 2/3 days per week hours are negotiable. Salary of £38000 FTE will be pro-rata for part time.
Key Responsibilities
· Continuing to promote a positive health and safety culture
· Being the subject matter expert to all stakeholders on site
· Ensuring the effective risk assessment processes are in place for the site activities including general risk assessments, COSHH, Manual Handling, Noise, DSE and other Statutory requirements
· Checking the maintenance and compliance of Health and Safety & Environmental systems and procedures throughout site.
· Being responsible for input on training plans working closely with the teams, MHE training and standard operating procedures including safe systems of work.
· Ensuring training targets are always met and actions achieved.
· Ensuring that appropriate documents and records are maintained to demonstrate compliance with all statutory requirements.
· Undertaking any other duties which may be required to assist the needs of the business as directed by management.
Essential
· A minimum of two years prior experience of working in Health and Safety in a similar warehouse/manufacturing environment
· NEBOSH General Certificate and membership as a minimum
Preferred
· Experience of working in a manufacturing/production environment.
· Experience of delivering safety related training courses
