We're looking for a reliable, practical and hardworking Property & Estate Operative to join our team. This is a varied, hands-on role combining cleaning, property presentation, estate upkeep and basic maintenance.
No two days are the same.
The Role
Monday–Wednesday – Property Portfolio
Working alongside another Property & Estate Operative, you will:
- Clean communal areas within our house shares
- Prepare bedrooms for new tenants.
- Carry out deep cleans of kitchens, bathrooms and communal areas.
- Maintain a consistently high standard of cleanliness and presentation.
- Replenish cleaning consumables.
- Report maintenance issues.
Thursday – Private Country Estate
You will help maintain a beautiful private estate near Corbridge, including:
- Housekeeping and cleaning.
- Laundry.
- General estate housekeeping.
- Maintaining the house and surrounding grounds to a high standard.
Friday – Property & Estate Day
Working independently, you will undertake a variety of operational tasks including:
- End-of-tenancy cleans.
- Deep cleaning.
- Basic property repairs.
- Resealing showers and sanitary ware.
- Weeding and tidying external areas.
- Removing rubbish and unwanted items.
- Carpet cleaning.
- Window cleaning where appropriate.
- Moving furniture and equipment.
- Collecting materials and supplies.
- Supporting the wider property team with general operational tasks.
We're looking for someone who:

- Enjoys practical, hands-on work.
- Can work independently and as part of a team.
- Has a positive, can-do attitude.
- Is physically fit and comfortable carrying out manual tasks.
Essential Requirements
- Full UK driving licence.
- Own vehicle available for work purposes.
- Comfortable travelling between multiple locations.
- Good basic DIY skills.
- Ability to lift and move equipment where required.
Previous experience in cleaning, caretaking, facilities, hospitality or property maintenance would be an advantage but is not essential.
Travel
This is a field-based role, with daily start locations varying depending on the work schedule.
Employees will normally travel directly to the first property each day using their own vehicle. Approved business mileage is reimbursed in accordance with the Company's mileage policy.
