'Summary'
'We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing Executive to join our team. Based near Canary Wharf station, this role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our marketing strategies and enhance our brand presence within the financial services industry.
You will help to coordinate marketing delivery across a portfolio of client accounts, working across content, automation, paid media, and web projects.
You will be executing marketing strategies tailored to each client's goals and audience, managing day-to-day campaign delivery.
Marketing Management:
- Support the implementation of marketing strategy and content plans across multiple client accounts simultaneously;
- Manage brand presence and consistency across each client's approved channels, including website, social media, email, and paid media;
- Create, manage, and maintain marketing materials and campaign assets across clients, coordinating with design and development resources where needed;
- Preparing, formatting, and editing a range of marketing content and documents;
- Creating and interpreting performance reports across campaigns, with a focus on tracking effectiveness and informing future strategy;
- Organising and planning the production of marketing materials, working with internal team members;
- Familiarising yourself with each client's products, services, and target audience;
- Contributing towards team success; recommending improvements to systems and processes where necessary;
- Supporting research to identify new opportunities and audience needs across accounts;
- Reporting on data and presenting findings back to the team;
- Working closely with the wider marketing team to develop bespoke campaigns for each client.
Social Media Management:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to achieve brand awareness, audience engagement, and lead generation;
- Create compelling social media content (text, images, videos) across various platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.);
- Manage and monitor social media channels, responding to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner;
- Analyse social media performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement;
- Using social media to build relationships with potential clients.
Campaign & Automation Management:
- Manage marketing automation workflows (e.g. email sequences, lead nurture flows) across client accounts;
- Own the reporting function for campaign performance, evaluating and measuring effectiveness and producing management information to inform strategy;
- Document, track, and monitor campaign activity and leads within relevant CRM/automation platforms;
- Coordinate with internal team members to ensure campaigns are delivered on time and to brief;
- Support the scoping and planning of new marketing projects across the client portfolio.
Knowledge and experience:
· 2 years of marketing/lead generation experience required.
· Financial advice industry experience is preferred but not essential.
· Good level of IT literacy is essential, as you will be required to document your sales activity and pipelines in a CRM and PM system.
Skills and behaviours:
· Open to change with a creative approach to problem solving.
· Proficient speaking and writing skills are mandatory since you will be responsible for presenting our brand to interested audiences.
· Comfortable with/experienced in using data systems.
· Knowledge of lead processes, ideally having worked with Salesforce to manage lead pipelines.
· Knowledge of relevant FCA regulation and/or legislation applicable to practice marketing activities and legislation (desirable).
· Exceptional attention to detail.
· Broad experience of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
· Ability to work under your own initiative as well as being a team player.
· Be self-motivated and focused on continually achieving and exceeding targets.
· Outstanding organisational, prioritising and time management skills.
· Able to work well under pressure.
· Intuitive and insightful, particularly regarding human behaviour.
