Keystone Group is a market leader in the building materials and products markets in the UK, Ireland and Continental Europe. The Keystone Group consists of Keystone Lintels, IG Lintels, Smartroof, IG Masonry Support Systems, KeyFix, Showersave and Keylite Roof Windows.
Due to continued growth and innovation, the Keystone Group now require an additional lorry driver on a full time permanent basis to work within our Cookstown site.
MAIN OBJECTIVE OF THE ROLE
Ensure, without exception, that the correct products are packed and that the quality checklist is completed for every order.
JOB DESCRIPTION
· Plan and deliver orders to customers around the country as required in an efficient and diligent manner
· Liaise closely with the dispatch team to coordinate efficient delivery service
· Demonstrate team work with colleagues in the yard and with colleagues in other departments across the site and across the company
· Undertake a professional and courteous manner when out on the road, when driving and also when dealing with customers and sales reps
· Ensure Load and Manifests match paperwork (sign off check sheets)
· Complete daily vehicle checks before leaving yard and ensure load is properly secured
· Provide POD’s for customer signature and return signed copies for office
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
· A minimum of 12 months relevant experience, those who can demonstrate experience within an industrial manufacturing/construction setting would be advantageous
- Hold a valid, up to date HGV driving license
- Hold a digital tachograph card
- Hold a Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
- Demonstrate good geographical knowledge
- Strong communication, verbal and numeracy skills
- Punctual & reliable with a degree of flexibility required at weekends and peak business times.
This is an hourly paid role with competitive salary offered to the right candidate.
