About the Role
This position covers our existing Deputy Manager, who is stepping into a seconded role for an initial 12-month period.
You will help run one of our shared houses within Garvald West Linton—a vibrant, therapeutic community for adults with learning disabilities, founded on Steiner principles in 1944. Working closely with the House Manager, you will support the day-to-day life of the house, lead shifts, and help create a warm, structured, and fulfilling environment for our residents. Some direct care work will be required.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience in a support or care setting (experience in a supervisory role is a plus).
- An understanding of, or a strong interest in learning about, Steiner social care principles.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to team leadership.
