Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Joiner to join our installation team. The ideal candidate will have their own tools and van along with experience in fabrication, carpentry and joinery, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality craftsmanship. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on local domestic kitchen installations. The successful applicant will be responsible for installing kitchens along with any associated joinery required. Basic plumbing skills would be an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Assemble, install cabinets, fixtures and fittings, appliances and other materials using hand tools and power tools to meet project specifications
- Construct frameworks, fittings, and fixtures for residential properties.
- Install components such integrated appliances, worktops, flooring, skirting ,doors. Some structural work.
- Perform heavy lifting of materials safely and efficiently to facilitate construction activities
- Assist with construction painting, masonry work, plumbing installations, and electrical tasks as required
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate execution of projects
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment in compliance with health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with other tradespeople such as electricians, plumbers, and masons to ensure seamless project delivery
Qualifications
- Proven experience in kitchen fitting carpentry, joinery or related trades
- Proficiency with hand tools such as saws, chisels, hammers, and measuring devices
- Experience operating power tools safely and effectively
- Knowledge of plumbing systems, electrical wiring and general construction.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work at heights when necessary
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to read technical drawings accurately
- Relevant qualifications or apprenticeships in carpentry or joinery are preferred but not essential
- Physical fitness to undertake demanding manual tasks throughout the working day

Pay: £20.00-£25.00 per hour
