Overview
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Labourer to join our team. The successful candidate will be involved in various outdoor and construction-related tasks, contributing to landscape maintenance, gardening, and general site upkeep. Responsibilities
- Assisting with landscape maintenance including planting, pruning, and lawn care
- Operating hand tools such as spades, rakes, and shovels to carry out gardening and site preparation tasks
- Using power tools safely for construction and maintenance activities
- Supporting the operation of machinery such as excavators and irrigation systems under supervision
- Performing general site maintenance including cleaning, organising materials, and ensuring safety standards are met
- Assisting with the installation and repair of irrigation systems
- Supporting team members with various construction tasks as required
- Maintaining a clean and organised work environment at all times
Requirements
- Prior experience or knowledge in landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture is desirable but not essential
- Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with power tools and construction equipment is advantageous
- Ability to operate hand tools safely and effectively
- Experience or training in operating excavators or other heavy machinery is a plus
- Basic understanding of irrigation systems and general site maintenance procedures
- Strong work ethic with the ability to follow instructions accurately
- Physical fitness to perform manual labour outdoors in varying weather conditions
- A responsible attitude towards safety protocols and teamwork skills
