An exciting opportunity has arisen at Wath Academy for an exceptional Student Support Worker to work with an experienced and highly motivated team of professionals.
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Student Support Worker who will provide exceptional pastoral care, support and guidance for all students.
Salary: £22,950.00 - £24,462.00 pro rata and £26,403.00 - £28,142.00 FTE (Pay Award Pending)
About the Role
As a Student Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting students’ wellbeing, engagement and personal development. You will work closely with teaching staff, pastoral teams, parents/carers and external agencies to help students overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.
The role requires a calm, empathetic and proactive individual who is able to build positive relationships with young people and provide consistent support within a busy secondary school environment.
The ideal candidate will:

have strong communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with students, staff and families.
