Overview
An established architectural practice based in Belfast is seeking a talented and motivated Architect to join its growing team. This role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of projects, contributing from early design stages through to project delivery.
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong design capability, technical competence, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and contribute to architectural design across multiple project stages
- Produce high-quality design drawings, technical packages, and presentation materials
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors throughout project lifecycles
- Assist in planning applications and statutory approvals
- Prepare and review construction documentation and specifications
- Ensure projects comply with relevant building regulations and standards
- Support project delivery from concept through to completion
- Participate in internal design reviews and project meetings
Requirements
- Degree in Architecture (Part III preferred or equivalent qualification)
- Proven experience working within an architectural practice
- Strong design, technical, and detailing skills
- Proficiency in industry software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Knowledge of UK planning processes and building regulations
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to manage workload across multiple projects
Desirable
- Experience working on residential, commercial, or mixed-use projects
- BIM experience or familiarity with collaborative digital workflows
- Strong presentation and client-facing skills
