- A full and relevant Level 3 ,Level 4 or Level 5 Early Years / Childcare qualification.
- Good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

Responsibilities:
- Write developmental reports for key children;
- Orchestrate age-appropriate educational play and activities that align with EYFS guidelines to help little ones reach their developmental
- Liaise with parents and carers, ensuring close communication is maintained;
- Carry out short, medium and long-term planning for all key children on an individual basis in accordance with the EYFS;
- Make regular observations and keep developmental records updated so that children’s progress can be monitored and assessed.
- Carry out daily risk assessments.
- Coordinate a small team within your room
Requirements:
- Planning, preparing and organising purposeful and stimulating age appropriate activities;
- Online Enhanced DBS
- Paediatrics first aid
- Working with children from birth to 14 years
- Experience with older children due to us providing wrap around care
- A relevant childcare qualification for the role (Minimum NNEB, NVQ3/Diploma 3);
- Experience of working in a nursery/private day care setting as a Nursery Nurse;
- Provide a safe and secure home like environment for the children within your care;
- Being a Key Person, liaising with parents, carers and senior staff regarding the development of the children within your care;
- Knowledge and experience of working within and implementing the EYFS statutory framework;
- Approachable and caring with a passion for working with children as a Nursery Nurse.
- Reliable and hard working.
- Can use own initiative and demonstrate an outstanding practice.
- Has lone working experience, as this can occur from time to time.
- Assist with school runs is essential
- Additional training is given.
- Flexibility required due to working of shifts.
- Clean driving licence is preferred to support school pick ups and drop offs
- Be honest and trustworthy and have the determination to succeed at a high level.
- This position will open up other opportunities to progress into other roles within the company.
A yearly bonus is rewarded if the necessary targets have been met.
Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour
