Optima Health and Social Care Ltd are looking to recruit Complex Health Support Workers to join our team in Liverpool L11 postcode.
Optima have part time vacancies for successful applicants to work between Mon-Sun, Waking Nights, Day shifts & weekend shifts, these are covered via a Team rota (given 1 month at a time). This young man is required to be supported in the family home, community and school.
Optima & the parents of this young man are looking for a Support Worker, who are, extremely reliable, trustworthy & able to support with clinical/complex health needs. You will be part of a team. Full training will be given, (during Training, day time & weekend availability will be required) including clinical, personal care and all necessary delegated health care tasks, to meet the Service User needs and keep them safe.
We are looking for people who are :
- Experienced in supporting children with complex health and additional needs. However, FULL training will be given to the right candidates through our In House - Nurse Trainer Practitioners. (Approx. 6 weeks training)
- Looking for permanent hours (not bank or zero hours contracts
- Looking to only work in 1-2 packages of care, covering shifts no shorter than 5 hours.
- Thrive on regularity & routine.

The Applicant:
- Hold a full UK driving license (Not Essential, but desirable)
- Shifts vary within the package of care, i.e. 10hr nights & on a Saturday, 8hr school shifts and in non term time vary between 4hrs & 8hrs
- Be able to use mobile apps!, required to access all Care Plans which are needed to complete work tasks & Training.
- Have the natural ability in supporting children of all ages
- Be committed, reliable, learn new skills and knowledge.
- A good understanding of Safeguarding & Whistleblowing procedures
