Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure smooth daily operations, maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.
- Oversee food preparation and presentation, ensuring consistency and excellence across all menu items.
- Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste to optimize kitchen efficiency.
- Plan and develop menus that reflect current culinary trends while catering to dietary needs and client preferences.
- Coordinate catering events, banquets, and special functions with attention to detail and timely execution.
- Enforce strict adherence to food safety regulations and sanitation standards to maintain a safe working environment.
- Provide training and mentorship to team members, fostering a positive work culture focused on teamwork, leadership, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Proven experience in fine dining establishments with strong background in food production, catering, and restaurant management.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience leading culinary teams in high-volume settings.
- Extensive knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, inventory management, and kitchen operations.
- Skilled in menu planning, food preparation techniques, and culinary innovation.
- Experience with banquet service, dietary department procedures, and catering logistics is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills; capable of managing shift schedules and motivating staff.
- Familiarity with the food industry standards for cleanliness, safety, and customer service excellence.
