FastHeal Pharmacy and clinic is a local community pharmacy located in bagshot village
Role: Dispensing Assistant
Type: Permanent Full time
Job Description:
The main role is to work well with the team of other dispensers and the pharmacist to help prepare medications and deal with patient queries efficiently and professionally.
We are looking for applicants who can work full time with potential alternating Saturday cover.
Shifts will be either 9am-6pm or 10am-6:30pm
Experience is preferred but if not training and courses will be provided from us, helping to build your career and future in the pharmacy industry!
Responsibilities
The main responsibilities of the role are but not limited to:
- Carry out dispensing duties under the supervision of the Pharmacist manager
- Ensure all prescriptions are dispensed and labelled accurately and in a timely manner
- To monitor stock levels and adapt orders appropriately
- Answering telephone queries appropriately to customer needs, politely and efficiently
- serve customers and help advise and hand out medication
- Any other tasks detailed out by the manager or pharmacist
Essential Criteria
- Great communication skills
- Confidence with speaking to patients in a professional manner
- Excellent Customer Service
- Must have 1 year experience in pharmacy
Desirable Criteria
- Experience in using PMR software RxWeb.
