We’re seeking an experienced Lead Passive Fire Protection Surveyor to oversee the full survey process, from initial order to final report. What You'll Do
· Carry out and oversee fire compartmentation, fire door and passive fire protection surveys
· Identify defects against regulations and manufacturer standards
· Coordinate survey schedules, RAMS, equipment and labour
· Produce high‑quality survey reports and prepare data for pricing
· Attend site visits and support client relationships
· Promote additional services and support business development
· Maintain compliance with H&S, ISO and industry standards
· Investigate non‑conformances and maintain accurate records
· Support colleagues and represent the surveying function professionally
What You’ll Bring
· Experience in passive fire protection surveying
· Hands‑on experience installing fire protection systems (essential)
· Strong understanding of fire safety regulations and standards
· Proven experience preparing cost estimates and project pricing
· Business development experience, including advertising and tender submissions
· Excellent communication and client‑facing skills
· Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
· Commitment to safety, compliance and continuous improvement
· Minimum ASFP/IFE Level 2 qualification, with formal fire door training from BRE, FDIS, FPA, IFI or equivalent
· Full UK driving licence is essential
